Exciting young winger signed from Crewe Alexandra with the ability to play on either flank.

Colclough signed a three-and a half year deal from Crewe Alexandra in January 2016, making his first appearance as a substitute three days later against his hometown club Port Vale in a 3-0 victory at the DW Stadium.

Equally as comfortable on either flank, he is quick, skilful and can cut in to shoot on to both his left and right foot.

He featured 10 times during Latics' run-in to the Sky Bet League One title in 2016, scoring his first goal in style during the 3-0 home win against Bury in February 2016, before doubling his tally during Latics' 3-3 away draw at Colchester United the following month.

After playing in the opening day game 2016-17 campaign, he joined MK Dons on a season-long loan, scoring five goals in 18 League One games for the Dons.

The loan was cut short in January, however, and he featured nine times for Latics thereafter.

CAREER SO FAR
Burslem-born Colclough came through Crewe Alexandra's excellent academy and made his debut at 17 for the Railwaymen.

He broke through to become a regular towards the end of the 2014-15 season and confirmed his potential after scoring seven league goals at the start of the 2016-17 campaign – plus a Johnstone’s Paint Trophy goal in the 3-2 defeat to Latics.
