Former Hearts winger who signed for Latics in January 2017 for an undisclosed fee on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
Scotland youth international Walker left boyhood club Hearts for the DW Stadium in January 2017 after over 14 years at Tynecastle, where he'd progressed through the ranks to play 176 first team games, in which time he scored 43 goals.
Walker played eight times at the end of the 2017-18 season as Latics closed in on the Sky Bet League One title. His sole start came in a 1-0 win over Rochdale, with his other seven appearances coming as a substitute.
CAREER SO FAR
After joining his boyhood club at the age of 10, Walker progressed through the youth ranks to play 176 games in all competitions for Hearts.
Following a brief loan with Raith Rovers, Walker made his Hearts debut aged 19 at the start of the 2012-13 season and from then went on to be a regular for the club throughout a turbulent period in which they were relegated to the Scottish Championship and then promoted to the top flight again in 2014-15.
Walker has won 16 youth international caps for Scotland ranging from U16 - U21 level but is yet to be called up for the senior team.
