Date of birth
Young attacking midfielder who penned a permanent switch to Latics from Scottish giants Rangers in August 2018.
The son of former Premier League footballer Dean Windass, Josh is busy making his own way in the game after an impressive two years with Rangers.
Windass played his youth football with Huddersfield Town before making his league bow with Accrington Stanley, where he played 87 times, scoring 23 goals.
That form earned him a move to Ibrox where, after settling in with the Glasgow club, he found real form in the 2017-18 campaign, scoring 18 goals in 41 appearances to be the Gers' top goal-scorer.
Paul Cook saw an opportunity to bring the forward to the DW in August 2018 and will hope he continues his rise in style with Latics.
